Life is a precious gift and Spring is here..finally!

Karen and I had a wonderful 5 days with Laiza and our precious Masa in Seattle. Our first time seeing them or flying anywhere in 16 months! It went way too fast and really hurt to leave Friday. Can’t wait to see them again. Laiza was such a perfect host and we are so thankful for the time together. When Masa out of the blue said “Grandpa I love you” I can’t explain that feeling..but it sure was good. Love my girls very much:)

We were so fortunate to be able to tie in a trip to Ketchikan for a couple days to see family and friends, and celebrate the life of our friend Charlie Allen. The weather was gorgeous and there is no place on earth more beautiful. It was a privilege to spend Friday evening and Saturday afternoon with friends and family. Pretty emotional for sure with lots of tears mixed with joy. We love the Allen family a bunch and have so many great memories. Got to see a bunch of other friends and family too. Not enough time for sure. Heading home kinda spent but in a good way.
